The variable speed trigger gives you total control over every cut, helping you save battery and stay precise. Plus, it’s ready for the STIHL’s Comfort Hook, keeping your saw horizontal and balanced while you climb. And here’s the kicker—it costs less than the gas version, making it a smart upgrade for pros who want more saw for less hassle. Lightweight, quieter than gas units, and built for the tree, the MSA 190 T is your go-to tool for getting the job done right.
Features may include:
Power Boost- MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to internal intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.
- CONSTANT POWER, REGARDLESS OF BATTERY CHARGE STATUS. With other brands of battery tools, the performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. This is not the case with STIHL cordless power tools with CONSTANT POWER. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your STIHL power tool works with consistently high power.
- STIHL chainsaws are equipped with a chain stopping system designed to reduce the risk of injury in certain kickback situations. It is called a STIHL Quickstop® chain brake. The STIHL Quickstop® chain brake is designed to stop the rotation of the chain if activated by the operator’s hand or by inertia if the saw kicks back with sufficient force. In some working positions, the STIHL Quickstop® chain brake can be activated by inertia, stopping the chain within fractions of a second.
- More convenient for the user to adjust the saw chain with a bar wrench as opposed to the typical location of the guide bar adjustment screw.
- This safety feature must be depressed before the trigger can be activated.
